We are seeking a qualified educator to teach Business and Social Impact, Market and Customer Value, and People and Organisation.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work as a sessional academic in a Diploma of Business team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students.

  • Teaching Duties:
    • Deliver tutorials and workshops as outlined in the curriculum for the subject each week in subject area of expertise
    • Grading assignments, tests, examinations, and other assessment items
    • Provide detailed, timely, and meaningful feedback to students
  • General Duties:
    • Support early learning needs and referrals to study success advisors
    • Participate in professional development activities with the academic coordinator and program manager
    • Attend staff meetings as required
  • Team Liaison & Collaboration:
    • Maintain ongoing communication with academic coordinators, study success advisors, and academic colleagues
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field
  • 5 years+ experience in industry practice or relevant post-graduate qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching in higher education environment

Candidates should also demonstrate commitment to innovative learning and teaching practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritise multiple demands.
