- Develop and maintain a positive working environment and team culture that is aligned to John Holland's values and delivers safe outcomes, continuous improvement, and employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Accountable for the NSW & ACT plant P&L, ensuring annual financial budgets are developed, costs controlled within budget, and accurate monthly reports and forecasts are delivered in a timely manner.
- Manage the maintenance program for all NSW & ACT plant assets, ensuring compliance to Technical Maintenance Plans and achieving required levels of asset reliability and availability.
Requirements:

- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse mix of peers and other stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve safe outcomes in a high-risk environment such as rail, construction, or mining.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead a business function and implement strategies to achieve effective financial and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of assets such as plant and equipment within heavy industry (e.g., rail, infrastructure, or mining).
- Thorough understanding of asset lifecycle principles.
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in a relevant discipline or field (e.g., mechanical, electrical) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to travel regularly to various sites based in Sydney and the Hunter region.
