We're seeking a Seasonal Casual Forklift Driver & Parcel Sorter to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of mail and parcels during our busiest time of the year.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, operating sophisticated processing equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

• You will be using a forklift to load and unload mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
• Sorting parcels and mail manually or machine-assisted with the use of scanners
• Working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines
• Operating and using load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers whilst cooperating with operations staff to get the mail into the facility
• Working afternoon shift Night Shift 11pm - 6:51am Sun - Thurs plus OT, with the possibility of permanency

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25-$35 AUD*, a 12% superannuation rate, and the possibility of ongoing work beyond the peak season.

*Note: Higher rates of pay may apply for applicable shift times (penalty rates).

• A valid LF Forklift License
• A physical role that requires lifting up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
• Safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans
• A comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products

• A regular shift time allocated to you
