The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Schools Engagement Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Schools Engagement Team, you will play a vital role in empowering young people across Victoria through education and action on social justice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver impactful school-based programs and workshops that promote social justice and The Salvation Army's values.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, educational bodies, and other stakeholders to foster awareness of issues facing young people today.
- Support the development and delivery of campaigns that inspire student engagement and connection with the organisation's mission.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced facilitator or educator with a deep commitment to youth empowerment and social justice. You should be a confident communicator who can thrive in front of a student audience and value strong school partnerships.
Key Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in education, communications, youth or community work, or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record of delivering successful school workshops and knowledge of the education system.
