Firefighting Services Role

About the Job

This is a vital role in maintaining public safety through community engagement and response to emergencies. As an On-Call Firefighter, you will be responsible for working within a team environment to provide fire protection services to local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to emergency incidents such as fires, motor vehicle accidents, or chemical hazards.
  • Participate in community fire safety work, including education and outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with other emergency services agencies such as NSW Ambulance, Rural Fire Service, and Police.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1).
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Livability within a reasonable distance of the Fire Station.
