About the Role: We're currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our team on an upcoming $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW. As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans that meet client requirements.
  • Review and endorse contractor commissioning plans, inspection and test plans, and associated checklists.
  • Collate, review, and distribute comments on contractor draft commissioning plans.
  • Review and endorse final contractor commissioning plans.
  • Review and endorse contractor commissioning inspection and test plans and checklists.
  • Review and provide comment on operating and maintenance manuals, safe operating procedures, and unit process guides.
  • Attend factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and defects walks.
  • Participate in hazard operability studies, chair and design reviews as required.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in municipal (utility) water/wastewater treatment commissioning.
  • Comprehensive experience in the detailed planning of commissioning, proving, and demonstration of wastewater/water treatment plants, pump stations, and pipelines.
  • Proven experience in the successful commissioning, demonstration, operator training, and handover of water/wastewater treatment plants in a timely manner.
  • Proven experience in the timely preparation and acceptance of comprehensive commissioning reports and supporting documentation.
  • Experience in managing or undertaking the preparation of operating procedures, maintenance programs/schedules, and operation and maintenance manuals.
