Timber Yard Worker Job Description

This role is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced timber yard environment, with regular breaks throughout the day.

  • Stacking and strapping of timber
  • Feeding timber through Moulder Machines
  • Grading
  • Cutting lengths

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of tasks
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel cap boots and a hi-viz shirt

The working conditions for this role involve working Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 4:30pm. The ongoing work provides a stable income opportunity, with weekly pay and regular breaks. In addition, employees have access to regular weekly BBQs, allowing them to take advantage of their long weekend by enjoying some social time with colleagues.
