Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team at NetApp. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and test automation tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud-scale products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation frameworks and test automation tools to support the development and testing of cloud-scale products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities and develop automation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
  • Work with development teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities and develop automation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to support the development and testing of cloud-scale products.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Strong experience with building and contributing to automation frameworks and test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with testing concepts, including test plans, tools, test processes, execution, test repositories, and defect tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers and DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of storage and networking concepts.
  • Good understanding of Linux or other UNIX OS technologies.
  • Good understanding of REST API design and implementation.
  • Strong aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.

Education:

A BTech/BE in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, a Master's degree, or equivalent experience with 8 to 12 years of experience.
