Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support to patients and colleagues
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to dentists, including instrument sterilization and infection control
  • Provide administrative support, including booking and amending appointments, answering phone calls, and updating patient records
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
  • Make patients aware of dental services and offers, and handle payments
  • Access sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant in Australia
  • Receptionist experience highly regarded, with on-the-job training provided
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded, with compensation to match experience level
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient-focused with a passion for customer service and care
  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to build rapport with patients
