Strategic Governance and Compliance Lead

The role of the Strategic Governance and Compliance Lead plays a pivotal part in strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance across the Technology Group.
This opportunity includes accountability for identifying and developing future capabilities within the Technology Group, leading the development, implementation, and continual improvement of frameworks, processes, and reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic direction and regulatory obligations.
As a Strategic Governance and Compliance Lead, you will provide advice that enables informed decision-making, strengthens risk resilience, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and promotes a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and reporting processes.
- Oversee technology risk management, including ownership of the risk register and resilience strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and regulatory directives, policies, and obligations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain capability frameworks for the Technology Group.
- Lead audits and reviews, ensuring recommendations are addressed effectively.
- Act as the primary advisor on governance, risk, and compliance matters to Technology Group leaders.
- Have a passion for challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement by embedding lean, efficient, and agile governance practices.
