Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take on a challenging role in our Perth, Australia office.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers looking to advance their careers and contribute to diverse projects related to battery minerals and plant optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership skills to junior engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify electrical equipment for hazardous areas.
  • Develop project documentation, including reports and specifications.
  • Conduct investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
  • Lead early-stage studies for electrical systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations.
  • Oversee junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
