We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Middle Leader to join our school community. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the principal in implementing the school's vision and mission.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and meeting the pastoral and well-being needs of students in a selected Stage. You will work closely with the Leader of Student Wellbeing and the Principal to ensure a positive learning culture and high expectations for all students.
Key Responsibilities- Support and meet the pastoral and well-being needs of students in a selected Stage.
- Collaborate with the Leader of Student Wellbeing and the Principal to promote student well-being and engagement.
- Assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school and contribute to implementing the school's vision and mission.
- A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- A commitment to promoting and embedding the school's values in pastoral programs and practices.
- A strong understanding of contemporary approaches to student well-being and management.
- The demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively with staff.
- The demonstrated ability to support students with challenging behaviours.
- The demonstrated ability to build a positive learning culture of high expectations for all, with an emphasis on differentiated learning to meet the holistic needs of all students.
- The ability to use data to discern the individual needs of students and be able to source appropriate support.
- This is a temporary full-time position commencing 27 January 2026 until 17 December 2026.
- The successful applicant will have access to professional development opportunities and support from the school leadership team.
- This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the education and well-being of students in a supportive and collaborative environment.
