Early Childhood Educator Wanted

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our 3-year-old room. This is a part-time position, working 3 days a week (hours negotiable). If you have completed at least 50% of a relevant Early Childhood Teaching degree, you may be eligible to work in this role under a Special Authority. Alternatively, if you have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and enrolled in a relevant Early Childhood Teaching degree, you may also be eligible to work in this role under a Special Authority.

About the Role:

You are warm, proactive, and passionate about early childhood education. You bring creativity, care, and professionalism to your teaching, nurturing each child's development through play-based learning. With strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you create a positive, supportive environment for children, families, and your team.

Requirements:

  • Suitably qualified with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Or at least 50% completed degree for special authority
  • Or enrolled in degree while also holding a relevant Diploma
  • A committed Christian who is active in church fellowship
  • An outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • Completed Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse & Neglect in Education & Care (RRHAN-EC) training
  • Protective Practices training or willing to complete these upon commencement
