Electrical Engineer Team Lead

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our team of experts in secondary systems. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing delivery, verifying detailed design, and monitoring project measures to ensure on-time, under-budget, high-quality delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Technical Lead on projects, managing delivery and verifying detailed design
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of Engineers in a client-facing role, fostering and developing relationships
- Overall team management of the secondary systems team, including work and resource allocation, oversight of projects, and helping the team develop professionally
- Collaborate with the team and senior leadership to develop innovative solutions to our clients, assisting with bids, tenders, and business development activities
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with RPEV (or equivalent) or ability to obtain
- Evidence of technical competency and project leadership experience in Secondary System projects, alongside a detailed knowledge of Secondary Systems and equipment
- Ability to work independently on projects in Protection and Control, while working closely with major client accounts
- Prior involvement in delivery of detailed scope and specifications, detailed design, review sign off, report writing, and relay configurations
- Proven understanding of sub-transmission and distribution system protection and control Australian Standards
