Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team, where you will play a key role in redefining how the world experiences design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build scalable web solutions that enable teams to rapidly and reliably build and manage highly performant web pages.
  • Collaborate with leads, product managers, and engineers to gain important insights and build the right solutions.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and advocate for best practices to maintain a high-quality bar.
  • Communicate engineering needs effectively to non-technical team members.
  • Improve the platform's developer experience by introducing new tooling.
  • Model initiative and ownership in achieving goals and improving processes while demonstrating pragmatic excellence.
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Set up observability and monitoring capabilities to better understand the health of our platform.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks.

You're Probably a Match If You Have

  • Commercial experience in software development, building, testing, and monitoring scalable systems.
  • Experience developing rich web applications using Typescript, React & MobX.
  • A firm understanding of web front-end tooling such as Webpack and NodeJS.
  • Experience optimizing web page performance and Core Web Vitals.
  • A solid grasp of server-side rendering technologies and patterns and experience building pages in Next.js on a GraphQL backend.
  • Firmly grounded computer science and web fundamentals, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • A passion for testing and ensuring software quality meets high standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to reconcile user needs to find a balance between established paths and adopting new solutions.
  • A product thinking mindset and the willingness to contribute to the roadmap.
