Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team at St Joseph's Regional College.

About the Role

This is a temporary, part-time position (0.7FTE) commencing on Monday, 28th October 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 7-12.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum materials
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Desirable Qualities

  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • Ability to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers
  • Willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community
