Distribution Operations Manager

This is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing national warehousing and distribution operations across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be required to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of regulated blasting materials to customer sites throughout Australia.
The key responsibilities of this role include leading and managing warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, maintaining operational discipline across the supply chain network, and supporting contract management. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams and implementing robust systems and processes for inventory control and regulatory reporting.
Requirements:- A strong commitment to safety with a proven track record of safe operations.
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally in a regulated industry.
- Effective leadership skills with experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Understanding of compliance and safety requirements related to hazardous goods transport and storage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and logistics software.
