Job Title: Hydraulic Services Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydraulic Services Team Leader to join our team at ACOR Consultants.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of hydraulic professionals in our Perth office, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of hydraulic professionals, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and build consulting and technical ability in the service line and within the team to meet short and long-term business needs.
  • Undertake business development activities with clients as required, providing input to and assisting with the preparation of bids.
  • Contribute to matching service line capability to forecasted workload, achieving utilisation, recovery, and revenue targets established for the team.
  • Build and maintain a team resourcing plan, staff development and training plan, and staff succession plan, contributing to those plans for the service line.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Strong technical understanding of hydraulic design and relevant standards.
  • Previous experience in managing the design process within a consulting environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The desire to develop and build high-performing design teams.
