We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Acuity Midwife/Nurse Specialist to join our team at Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to women with complex health issues and challenging pregnancies.
About the Role- Provide quality client-focused care to patients, their family and carers, using a holistic approach
- Nurse and Midwifery Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (essential)
- At least two years' relevant experience as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse (essential)
- Previous experience in acute general nursing (desirable)
- Recent knowledge of all areas of midwifery practice and experience in working in Birthing Services, Emergency, Critical care and Gynaecological experience (desirable)
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications, critical care (desirable)
- Neonatal resuscitation, adult resuscitation, competency in RANZCOG Fetal Surveillance Program or equivalent and completion of all other mandatory competencies upon commencement of employment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and be able to build good working relationships to foster a collaborative approach to care
- Work all rotational shifts
