About the Role

The Royal Women's Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in providing comprehensive pharmacy services to our clinical areas. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform medication reconciliation processes and resolve medication-related issues to ensure patient safety
  • Provide medicine information and counsel patients to promote optimal health outcomes
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to implement hospital policies and guidelines for medicine usage
  • Assist with additional departmental duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent, with current and full AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • General pharmacy knowledge and experience relevant to the position, with a strong focus on women's health and maternity services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills, with a positive attitude and professional manner
