Grounds Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our grounds through various horticultural activities.
Daily Duties:
- Mowing of all grassed areas on a regular basis
- Precise spraying of areas to control vegetation growth
- Establishing new plants and maintaining existing garden beds and trees
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Maintaining equipment and vehicles
- Operating machinery if licensed
- Other duties as required, including pest control and livestock management
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the upkeep of grounds to a high standard
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve overall business objectives
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols
Requirements:
- A current valid driver's licence
- Desirable: HR licence and experience with slasher/tractors
- Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously when required
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
- Willingness to follow all operational and health and safety guidelines
- Reliability, punctuality, and motivation
