Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client's team. As a Data Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Validation & Verification: Test data, including data processes, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans to validate data quality.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Identify and document discrepancies; work with development teams to resolve and re-test.
  • Automated Testing: Create and maintain automated test scripts to streamline data validation processes.
  • Collaboration: Work with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed test reports, highlighting risks and issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data testing or quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in data querying and data analysis.
  • Experience with data processes and cloud platforms.
  • Test automation experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of Regulatory Reporting in Financial Services is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.
