About This Role

We're seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop at Perth Airport.

  • As a permanent full-time opportunity, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly rate and 15% Superannuation.
  • Your working hours will be 06:00–18:00 (day shift) / 18:00–06:00 (night shift), followed by 7 days off.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to complete general servicing tasks on heavy vehicles including Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino, and Freightliner. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic repairs in accordance with job cards.

You'll work in a supportive and collaborative management environment, ensuring you have the resources and training needed to excel in your role.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
  • Previous diagnostic investigation experience
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of safety and adhere to HSE policies + procedures
  • Capacity to maintain quality and urgency in your work
