About the Role

Darebin City Council is committed to promoting water safety and swim education in our community. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a key role in teaching children and adults of varying abilities to swim and enjoy playing safe around water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver engaging swim lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

• Promote water safety awareness and best practices to students, parents, and community members.

• Collaborate with other aquatic and leisure facility staff to provide a comprehensive and inclusive program.

Requirements:

• Current or willing to obtain AUSTSWIM/LSV: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent) certification.

• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain).

• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).

• Industry experience is desirable but not required.
