About the Role

The Warehouse Assistant/Storeman plays a crucial role in supporting the Spare Parts Department in several key areas, including picking and packing stock, delivery and pick up of customer goods, and other general warehousing duties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Inventory Control: Execute regular stock takes on the main warehouse and Field Service Technicians' vans to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack and ship orders efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations.
  • General Warehousing: Perform various tasks related to warehousing, including receiving, storing, and retrieving inventory.
  • Replenishment: Replenish Field Service Technician's van stock to ensure they have the necessary materials to complete their tasks.
  • Receiving and Unpacking: Receive and unpack goods, including overseas freight, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Forklift License: Hold a valid forklift license to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation and Autonomy: Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Deadline Management: Manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills to navigate company systems and software.
  • Transport and License: Own transport and possess a manual driver's license to travel to different locations.
  • Adaptability: Show willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
