Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across Coles sites.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a first-year apprentice to work with skilled technicians and gain hands-on experience in electrical maintenance. You will have the chance to develop your skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as assisting with various electrical work such as wiring and conduit work.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. They will also need to hold a valid driver's license and own transportation.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues
  • Assisting with electrical work such as wiring and conduit work
  • Reading electrical diagrams and drawings to determine job requirements
  • Testing and repairing electrical faults
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships
Requirements:
  • Pre-apprenticeship in electrotechnology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Willingness to undergo medical and police checks
