Job Title: Software Craftsman

The role involves executing software development activities as part of a comprehensive defence solution provider team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software elements of Electronic Architecture across all programs.
  • Implement Australian Generic Vehicle Architecture (AS GVA) and Australian Land Data Model (AS LDM) software aspects across all programs.
  • Support System Safety by leading implementation of Software Safety.
  • Implement systems-security engineering in conjunction with platform cyber security team.
  • C4I capability support through systems engineering product lifecycle from concept to design acceptance for land platform.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering, ICT or Science discipline with industry or domain work experience.
Experience:
  • Professional experience taking ownership of the whole software cycle, preferably in land C4I, writing software requirements, code, CSCI/Unit tests and supporting SW/System integration.
  • Professional experience in AS GVA, AS LDM, RTI-DDS, C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WPF, DevExpress, CAN, Containers.
