Job Opportunity: Employment Consultant

We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our team as an Employment Consultant. As a key member of our Disability Employment Services team, you will play a vital role in making employment opportunities accessible for everyone.

This role is perfect for someone who possesses excellent customer-centric skills and can motivate and support customers through their job search journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bias towards understanding customer interests, skills, and experience to build rapport.
  • IDentify barriers towards employment and health management, connecting customers with relevant support services.
  • Sourcing employment opportunities, building relationships with potential employers, and providing ongoing post-placement support to ensure job seekers maintain employment.

About You:

  • You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as highly developed planning, coordination, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • You're computer literate, able to work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and thrive on attributes such as Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity, and a Growth Mindset.
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field is preferred but not essential. You must hold full working rights, be able to satisfy national police check and Working with Children Check requirements, and hold a current driver's license where required.
