About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Signalling Engineer to join our team at Aurecon. As a key member of our rail engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of signalling designs and overseeing the delivery of complex rail projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of signalling designs, from concept to detailed design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supervise a team of signalling professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil and rail disciplines, to integrate signalling design with overall project requirements.
  • Engage with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on signalling design and project delivery.
  • Prepare and review signalling designs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Contribute to the development of Aurecon's rail expertise, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline with RPEQ or ability to obtain RPEQ.
  • Experience with signalling design on medium to large rail projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
