Environmental Permitting Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Environmental Permitting Manager to lead our APAC team. As the primary contact for environmental permitting in Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the permitting process, from initial assessment to final approval.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon's global Environmental organization and contribute to our mission to provide environmentally responsible infrastructure development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading teams in environmental permitting, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and procedures in Asia Pacific. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
As a member of our APAC team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of environmental permitting, including initial assessment, risk identification, mitigation planning, and final approval
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes
- Providing expert advice on environmental permitting matters to internal stakeholders
In return, we offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
