As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily tasks, social inclusion, and community access. You will have the chance to develop independent living skills, implement behaviour management strategies, and provide personal care.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with household chores and grocery shopping
  • Helping with medication and medical appointments
  • Supporting clients with holidays, fishing, camping, and beach activities
  • Encouraging social inclusion and community access
  • Providing fitness and wellbeing activities
  • Developing independent living skills
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Providing personal care

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess certain qualifications and skills, including:

  • A Blue Card for Working with Children (currently hold or be eligible to apply)
  • NDIS Worker Screening (currently hold or be eligible to apply)
  • A driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Completion of NDIS E-Learning modules
  • A smartphone with internet access
