Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join our water business in Australia. The successful candidate will have experience in water and wastewater design for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and water facilities.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers
  • Develop and deliver solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise from across the business
Required Skills and Qualifications

Expertise in various aspects of civil engineering including study involvement, budget, schedule, and scope development, detailed design, analysis, construction/commissioning phase support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Experience in the scoping and development of engineering work packages including time-based estimates for deliverables.

A strong understanding of our client's core business and ability to ensure that services meet their expectations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
