About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Strategist to join our Coles Finance team in Redbank. In this role, you will provide financial support to Commercial Managers in delivering business partnering to our Automated Distribution Centres.

You will work closely with operational stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business processes and monitor performance against budgets/targets. Your responsibilities will include developing robust reporting and analysis, producing daily, weekly and monthly financial reports, and delivering insightful analysis and commercial recommendations to ADC Management Team.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience presenting financial information in a clear and concise way and aiding operational and non-financial stakeholders in understanding key drivers of performance.

  • A varied finance background covering financial control, financial reporting, planning & analysis, and business partnering is essential.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will also have experience streamlining reporting processes and improving data visualisation.

Estimated salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
