Cyber Security Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience navigating an MSP and PRINCE2 environment, ensuring all projects adhere to organisational governance and business requirements while driving tangible security improvements and reducing risk across the organisation.

About the Role

This multi-year program offers multiple extensions and the chance to work in a well-established State Government Department. As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project activities, resources, schedules, and finances to meet budget and timelines.

You will also be required to liaise with stakeholders, including senior management, program teams, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication. Additionally, you will manage project risks, issues, conflicts, change requests, priorities, and ensure proper governance and assurance.

The role requires providing direction, support, and reporting to the project team and stakeholders, ensuring timely updates. You will also develop necessary project documentation, communication plans, and organisational change management strategies within an Agile, PRINCE2, and MSP framework.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities, resources, schedules, and finances to meet budget and timelines.
  2. Liaise with stakeholders, including senior management, program teams, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication.
