3D Digital Engraver Trainee Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled trainee to join our team as a 3D digital engraver.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in precision tooling, digital engraving, and production tooling.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or individual looking to kickstart their career in a dynamic and innovative industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct 3D electronic computer models using CarveCo Professional software, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Convert 3D models into C.N.C machining files after approval.
  • Setup and engrave Master Tooling and direct cut production dies on CNC mechanical engraving machines and Laser engraving machines.
  • Archive and retrieve plaster sculptures, electronic 3D files, and production Artwork as required.
  • Scan externally produced plasters with a 3D laser scanner and convert into a 3D computer file before importing/merging into an Art Cam electronic model.
  • Inspect all completed master tooling to ensure both aesthetic and technical specifications have been attained to the required standards.
