Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for business development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a wide range of projects, including mining and resources, dams, roads, rail, civil, and industrial.
  • Build on our strong business relationships with existing clients and identify new opportunities within this network.
  • Contribute to the culture of collaboration and excellence within our well-respected team.
  • Provide technical oversight, review, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Undertake geotechnical analyses on stand-alone projects and as part of larger multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Develop and implement best practice to provide practical and commercial solutions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' consulting experience with tertiary qualifications in engineering or geology.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills and demonstrated experience delivering on time and on budget.
  • Proven Business Development ability shown from winning new work and building long-term relationships with clients.
  • Developed project management skills.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills and excellent technical ability.
  • Enjoy passing on your knowledge and mentoring younger staff.
