Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.

We have been awarded a new water contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentational services across the Seqwater network.

About the Contract

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering work orders across assets including fault finding, condition assessment and renewal of instrumentation equipment.

This includes performing administrative tasks and documenting work progression in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

About You
  • Experience in either Infrastructure, Water or Oil & Gas industries is essential.
  • You must hold a Certificate IV or III in Instrumentation.
  • A current C Class Driver Licence is required.
  • Trade – Electrical certificate and QLD Electrical licence are also necessary.
  • You should possess various industry-specific certifications such as EEHA, CPR, Low Voltage Rescue and Confined Space Entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Electrical & Instrumentation work orders from the maintenance plan.
  • Perform tasks including fluid flow, pressure measurements and water quality monitoring equipment.
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures.
