A new opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join our team in Rouse Hill. As part of our Sydney Metro project, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on onboard and trackside Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) subsystems and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly monitor signalling defects and failures in traffic and liaise with key stakeholders
  • Mitigate the risk of in-service failures through proactive intervention
  • Download and process CBTC signalling diagnostic data, undertake fault finding to an advanced level
  • Produce complex, analytical technical reports on fault investigation
  • Actively participate in closing work reports within the Asset Information System

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology / Electrical Licence required
  • Experience in a rail maintenance background an advantage but not essential
  • Able to read drawings and perform diagnosis highly beneficial
