Job Title

Patient Administration Clerk

Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the Patient Administration Services Department, including Reception, Switchboard and Admissions/Discharges.

Key responsibilities include providing an efficient and courteous customer-oriented information service to patients, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of the health industry and health funds, preferably within a hospital setting and understanding of medical terminology.

A sound interpersonal skillset and ability to communicate effectively with hospital colleagues, patients, families, medical staff and members of the public are essential.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
