We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Risk Officer to join our team at Mount Private Hospital. As a key member of our Quality & Risk Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with policy updates, forms management, auditing, and compliance to maintain accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend actions to support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, projects, and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in clinical data collection, collation, and analysis to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate case review investigations and participate in accreditation processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have a thorough understanding of the NSQHS and LARU licensing standards. You will be a strong advocate for embedding national standards into daily practice and have excellent communication skills to partner with internal and external stakeholders and consumers.
You will also have:
- AHPRA registration (essential)
- Knowledge of national safety and quality healthcare standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
Mt Private Hospital is Western Australia's leading private provider of cardiology and cardiac surgery, supported through our Level 3 ICU. We provide leading care to patients in cardiology, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and general surgery.
