Job Overview

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving merchandise efficiently across the sales floor. You will also be required to stack and wrap pallets, ensuring they meet set standards.

You will assist with stocking and replenishing shelves, clearing debris, and verifying signage accuracy. Providing excellent customer service is also a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. A current forklift driving license would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high merchandise levels by aligning stock and restocking as necessary
  • Ensuring all pallets being placed in steel meet specific standards

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and can multitask in a fast-paced retail setting.

Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, sales, merchandising or comparable experience, along with supervisory or leadership experience and knowledge of products.

A satisfactory background check may be required for certain roles, and the successful candidate will be required to undertake training within specified timeframes.
