Head of College Services Role

About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned leadership professional to assume the role of Head of College Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of administrative functions, including student services and staff management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop administration staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to excel in their roles.
  • Oversee student services functions, including orientation, enrolment, counselling support, and appeals management.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to manage timetabling, subject selection, attendance monitoring, and articulation processes.
  • Maintain compliance with education sector legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer service, using feedback and data to enhance the student experience.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and supportive work environment aligned with our values and commitment to wellbeing.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in management and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of education sector legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
  • High level of computer literacy and familiarity with student management systems.
