About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Platforms Architect to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures using AWS cloud computing services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Cloud Formation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with DevOps philosophies and toolchains.
  • Provide cloud and infrastructure architecture designs in different layers/depth, including high-level and low-level design documents.
  • Work with Linux system implementation and configuration management tools/frameworks like Ansible and Puppet.
  • Deep experience working with Amazon Web Services and cloud-based services, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
  • 7-8 years of IT experience in a large enterprise organization in platform engineering and architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge/experience in Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience of understanding security & governance challenges involved in deploying to cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management best practices.

Requirements:

  • Certification in AWS cloud computing on an associate level is a must.
  • ITIL, TOGAF, or similar industry certifications are highly desirable.
  • Solid experience in infrastructure as code development, DevOps philosophies, and toolchains.
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration platforms/solutions.
  • Understanding and solid exposure to IT audits and compliance processes and requirements.
