We are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.

We need people who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities, and want to make a positive impact. Supporting them to become safe and more resilient by sharing your first aid skills and knowledge is essential as a Community First Aider.

Delivering first aid to those in need through local events, providing education to the public, and bringing people along to our cause are key responsibilities. As a result, we'll grow our membership and fundraising base, spreading the message that First Aid Saves Lives.

Volunteering as a Community First Aider offers a huge sense of satisfaction and pride, delivering an essential service. It's great for you, great for your community, and great for our nation, requiring only a small commitment of your time.

We ensure you have access to proper induction to volunteering and the training you need for this role. You'll be part of a supportive environment while volunteering with us. Information on our volunteer roles, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from our volunteers is included in our volunteer charter.

You will receive full training at area Training Centres, with additional training delivered at the Tamworth Training Centre on Meeting Nights. Once trained, you'll be able to attend Events as a St John Community First Aider.
