Job Description

Lifestyle and Wellbeing Care Officers play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by creating engaging activities that promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and physical engagement.

As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Care Officer, you will thrive on making a difference in the lives of others. You will work closely with the care team to ensure a high standard of care and support, following infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering activities that promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and physical engagement among our residents. This may involve collaborating with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.
  • You will need to hold a current Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support, or be willing to complete one.
  • A First Aid Certificate is also required (or willingness to obtain one).
  • An Australian driver's licence is necessary for this role.
