Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor HSE Co-ordinators to ensure a strong safety culture
- Support company operations in all aspects of HSEQ, including incident investigation and emergency response
- Positively influence leaders and workforce on Health and Safety requirements
- Undertake construction project audits to ensure compliance with project HSEQ Management Plans and Federal Safety Commission requirements
- Design and deliver training programs to support the company's Safe system of work
- Develop and maintain HSEQ documentation to ensure continuous improvement
- Collate HSEQ data, develop risk mitigation strategies, and deliver presentations to executive management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Construction HSE
- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
- Valid WA Manual Drivers Licence
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, and HSEQ software systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience in managing audits and investigations
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and complex problem-solving
- Experience in creating and implementing HSE processes
- Fully current on Health and Safety regulations and Work Health and Safety legislation
