  • Manage and mentor HSE Co-ordinators to ensure a strong safety culture
  • Support company operations in all aspects of HSEQ, including incident investigation and emergency response
  • Positively influence leaders and workforce on Health and Safety requirements
  • Undertake construction project audits to ensure compliance with project HSEQ Management Plans and Federal Safety Commission requirements
  • Design and deliver training programs to support the company's Safe system of work
  • Develop and maintain HSEQ documentation to ensure continuous improvement
  • Collate HSEQ data, develop risk mitigation strategies, and deliver presentations to executive management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Construction HSE
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
  • Valid WA Manual Drivers Licence
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, and HSEQ software systems
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in managing audits and investigations
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and complex problem-solving
  • Experience in creating and implementing HSE processes
  • Fully current on Health and Safety regulations and Work Health and Safety legislation
