Remote Dental Assistant Job Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to provide dental care in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

As a dental assistant, you will work closely with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver culturally safe and high-quality care.

The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine offers free CPD-accredited eLearning opportunities to further enhance your skills.

This role requires a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) and a minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience.

Candidates must also hold current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and evidence of recent CPD in Hand Hygiene, Infection Control and Sterilisation/Introduction to reprocessing reusable Medical Devices within the past 12 months.

Key Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent).
