Position Overview

Bradnams Windows and Doors is excited to announce openings for the role of Inwards Goods/Forklift Operator. This position is essential to our operations and will be based in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Inwards Goods/Forklift Operator will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming goods
  • Picking and packing orders accurately
  • Engaging in vertical and horizontal powder coating processes
  • Performing manual lifting tasks
  • Organizing stock placement and relocation

Shift Details

This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 38 hours per week, with shifts from 6:00 am to 2:06 pm.

Candidate Profile - Skills & Experience

We are committed to your success and will provide comprehensive training and tools necessary for the role. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Inwards Goods or Receiving is advantageous, though training will be provided
  • A valid LF Forklift License
  • A strong focus on customer service
  • Proactive, punctual, and dependable work ethic
  • The ability to follow instructions effectively
  • A positive attitude towards tasks and a commitment to safety
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
