Description:The Petition Review Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and processing personal insolvency interactions within the Office of the Official Receiver. This position requires strong analytical skills to assess and progress complex matters effectively and efficiently, ensuring fair and legally compliant administrative decisions are made for the Australian public.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage competing priorities and work with limited supervision to meet deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client needs while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve escalated, sensitive, and complex personal insolvency matters, providing accurate and timely information to clients and stakeholders.
- Engage empathetically and purposefully with clients from diverse backgrounds to address a wide range of complex issues.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation and provide technical guidance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Accounting, or relevant discipline from an Australian tertiary institution.
- Personal insolvency knowledge and experience within the Insolvency or Finance Industries.
