Senior Associate/Special Counsel - Project Finance

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious and driven lawyers who are looking to fast track their careers in a dynamic environment.

You will be part of a non-siloed practice where you will be advising a mix of leading lenders, borrowers and sponsors on some of the biggest energy and infrastructure projects around.

The work includes headline grabbing renewable and telco projects. Clients include not only the major national banks but also leading international investment banks.

While you will be working closely with one excellent partner, you will also work with, and learn from, 3 other leading partners in this team.

You will be working on a range of major finance and project documents and advising in relation to general financing matters.

This firm works on all aspects of projects so you will work closely with the corporate and construction teams as well.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on finance and project matters
  • Working on major finance and project documents
  • Collaborating with other teams to deliver projects
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of quality banking and finance experience in a leading law firm
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • A strong client relationship focus
  • A team player attitude and ethos
  • Ability to guide and mentor more junior staff
